How to Order Custom Anime Jewelry: References and Expectations

You know the character you want to wear. The next step is explaining which version you mean and what you love about it. A name, a clear reference, and a short note can communicate more than a folder of images pointing in different directions.

This guide explains how to order custom anime jewelry at JADE ALL DAY, with a practical way to prepare your character brief before opening the order form. Start with the identity and references; then check whether the creation process fits your expectations.

1. Name the character and the version

On our custom anime jewelry order page, choose a pendant or bracelet and enter the series and character together.

Add a version when it changes what you want the workshop to recognize: a particular outfit, hairstyle, or appearance from one part of the story. “My favorite character” leaves the identity open; a series, character, and version give the request a useful starting point.

For your own original character, identify it as an OC and give its name. If you have a reference sheet, use a short label that connects the name in your brief to the character shown on that sheet.

2. Give each reference image a job

Reference images are optional. The current upload limits are three images in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format, no more than 2 MB each. The first image you select becomes the main reference. These limits are also listed in our custom reference upload FAQ.

If you use all three slots, organize them around one version:

  • Main reference: A clear view of the chosen character and outfit.
  • Detail reference: A closer view of the hairstyle, expression, or feature you especially like.
  • Supporting view: Another angle of the same version, where it adds useful information.

Before uploading, compare the images side by side. If one shows a different costume or expression, replace it or explain which version should guide the request. Keep the main reference first so its role is clear.

Prefer images where the character is easy to see. A collage with several outfits can make the choice ambiguous; one focused image and a short note are easier to interpret. These are preparation suggestions, rather than extra order requirements.

3. Add an original design file if you have one

An original design file is optional too. The current form accepts one .blend, .stl, .jdp, .obj, .3mf, .step, or .stp file, up to 20 MB. You can prepare a request without making a 3D model.

When you do have a file, check that it represents the same character version as your images. A brief describing one outfit and a file showing another leaves an avoidable question. Open the file yourself before uploading and make sure it is the version you intend to share.

Your design remains subject to what the workshop can make in stone. If the request cannot be made, the current custom policy provides a full refund to the original payment method.

4. Write a brief that keeps the important details together

Use the required character field for identity and the optional notes for emphasis. The current character field permits up to 240 characters; a compact description leaves room for the version.

Here is a fictional preparation example, not a completed order or customer story:

Character field

Original character — Aster, travel outfit, short bob and crescent hair clip.

Optional notes

Image 1 is the main reference. Image 2 shows the hair clip more clearly. Please use the travel outfit shown in both images. The bob hairstyle and crescent clip are the features I especially like.

For a character from an existing series, replace the OC label with the series and character name. You can use the same structure: identify the version, label the main image, and name the features that matter most.

Read your brief alongside the attachments once more. Does every image and file point to the same request? Remove outdated references rather than leaving the workshop to choose between conflicting versions.

Our published shop reviews include comments about character resemblance and carving detail. Use those observations to think about the features you want to name in your brief.

5. Understand how references become a carving

Our custom service uses serpentine stone, traditionally called Xiuyan jade. The workshop adapts the form and details to the material and carving process. Exact color, dimensions, proportions, pose, and a full-body likeness are not promised.

The material description in this commissioned-service section does not identify the material of the two separately listed Hatsune Miku necklace pendants, D37B and 3A46. Those listings disclose Jade, without a specified mineral variety or certificate; check their own product facts and 14-calendar-day dispatch terms. The listed pendant designs and this separate commissioned service have different ordering terms.

The service also does not include a design preview, customer design approval, or revision round. The finished piece is sent directly. Read the anime custom order policy before proceeding.

Look through the current Anime Collection for examples of our made-to-order character carvings. Hatsune Miku pendant D37B shows a smiling face framed by twin tails; Hatsune Miku pendant 3A46 has a winking expression and twin tails. Use the listings to judge the carving style and decide which features you want to describe. The illustration on the custom service page is a concept image, rather than a photograph of a completed custom order.

If an exact measurement, fit, or accessory is essential to your decision, ask about it before ordering. A detailed note explains your preference, but does not by itself turn that preference into a confirmed specification.

6. Review price and timing before checkout

The custom service currently lists a base price of US$99 for either a pendant or bracelet, with standard shipping included to destinations supported at checkout. Other checkout currencies use the store’s current conversion; applicable tax and any optional expedited service appear before payment. Check the live service page and checkout total when you order.

Allow for making the piece and transporting it separately. Custom production follows purchase order and requires at least 14 days before dispatch, with no fixed maximum duration. Transit begins after dispatch. The shipping policy explains the distinction; 14 days is not a promised arrival date.

For a birthday, convention, or other fixed date, contact our team about your request and destination before paying. Ask any unresolved fit or accessory question at the same time.

Before you submit

  1. Choose the wearing format you want to request.
  2. Confirm the series, character, and relevant version.
  3. Check that your optional references agree and the main image is first.
  4. Check image sizes and any optional design file against the upload limits.
  5. Read the workshop interpretation and creation terms.
  6. Review the current total, delivery destination, and production timing.

When those details fit your expectations, return to the custom pendant or bracelet form with your brief and files ready.
